Rotisserie Chickens on Weber Genesis II


Recipe below is for 1 Chicken, you can double the ingredients for 2, as performed in the video.


1 Whole Chicken


Basting mixture:

1/2 cup Virgin Olive Oil 
1 Ounce honey
1 Ounce Lemon Juice
1 Tbs Poultry Seasoning



  1. Heat Basting Mixture ingredients in a sauce pan till well mixed.
  2. After Basting mixture has cooled, put chicken on rotisserie spit and coat with some of the basting mixture.
  3. Use both outside burners, to create indirect heat.  Cook on grill rotisserie at 350° F for 1 hour 15 minutes – 90 minutes.  Basting about every 30 minutes before cook time ends.
  4. Check thigh meat is 165° F.
